2022 Ford Bronco Sport Trim Levels

2022 Ford Bronco Sport Base

As the name suggests, this is the base model on which further trims will have been carved from. To set the scene, it comes with a standard 1.5L EcoBoost® I-3 engine that’s paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The power outputs generated are 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque.

This trim also comes with some features of the Ford Co-Pilot360™ technology suite and other helpful systems:

• AdvanceTrac® with RSC® (Roll Stability Control™)
• SOS Post-Crash Alert System™
• BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert
• Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking
• Lane-Keeping System

You also get the Rear View Camera and Auto High-Beam Headlamps on this trim. These features are incredible on their own, but when together like this, they take your driving to another level.

When looking at the infotainment systems, you must check out the audio features. The standard is an AM/FM stereo with six speakers. The primary infotainment feature is the SYNC® 3 with Enhanced Voice Recognition Communications and Entertainment System. It comes with an 8-inch capacitive touchscreen with swipe capability. Furthermore, it has Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility.

You can also expect to access AppLink®, 911 Assist®, and the FordPass™ Connect with 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot. This hotspot can accommodate up to 10 devices connected at once, with a range of up to 50 feet away from the vehicle.

Interior amenities include a center floor console with armrest, cargo tie-down carabiner hooks and loops, and a Terrain Management System™ with 5 G.O.A.T. Modes™. Seating wise, you are presented with cloth seating, a 6-way manual driver seat, and 4-way manual passenger seat.

This is the following trim that begins the traditional adding of new and unique features. One example of this is their approach to the Ford Co-Pilot360™ technology suite. They’ve added three available options which include:

• Voice-Activated Touchscreen Navigation System with Pinch-to-Zoom Capability, SiriusXM™ Traffic and Travel Link®
• Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go, Lane Centering, and Speed Sign Recognition
• Rear Parking Sensors

These additions make the whole suite that much more engaging to experience.

There are no major additions to the infotainment system on this trim, except for the previously mentioned Pinch-to-Zoom capability being added to the SYNC® 3 touchscreen as an available option.

As for interior amenities, you can now have access to a MOLLE Straps System, eight total cup holders, illuminated Visor Vanity Mirrors, and as an available option, zipper pockets (front driver/passenger seat back). Also, the cloth seating has been upgraded to a unique easy-to-clean cloth version. Coming as available options are heated front seats and an 8-way power driver seat.

For this trim level, you do not see the immediate difference between it and the previous one. Instead, it has a slower change over, beginning with the available option of the B&O© Sound System by Bang & Olufsen® that includes a raise to 10 speakers and subwoofer.

You also now have Intelligent Access with Push-Button Start as a standard feature. This technology allows you to start your Bronco Sport by pushing down on the brake pedal while your keys are on your person.

The display was increased on this trim, up to a 6.5-inch color LCD instrument panel. Along with instrumentation, you see the inclusion of a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel with Bronco Badge, cruise, and audio controls. Along these lines, the amount of power outlets has changed significantly as well.

Along with the 12V and Dual USB Type C and Std A ports, you now have a 110V/150W AC outlet in the cargo area. A wireless charging pad comes as an available option.

Interior amenities include heated front seats, 8-way power driver seat, 6-way power passenger seat, and leather-trimmed seats with front bucket.

This final trim is all about power and luxury. To drive that point home, it comes with a new engine. Upgrading to a 2.0L EcoBoost™ engine configuration increases the power outputs to a degree of 249 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. Building on this is the arrival of significant changes to the drivetrain as well. Gone is the formerly standard 4x4, replaced by off-road suspension and an advanced 4x4 with twin-clutch rear drive unit.

Your power outlet options have increased. The former 110V/150W AC outlet has been bumped up to the impressive 110V/400W measurements. The wireless charging pad is still an available option.

Interior amenities remain relatively unchanged, except for the seating options that now include sport contour front buckets as standard. The available option is leather-trimmed seats with mini perforation in the front bucket.
